About Me

Hello, my name is Matt Meyer and I am originally from Green Bay, WI. Throughout my whole life I have always been fascinated with the field of computer science and have been intrigued by the inner workings of a computer. I started learning about computers at the age of 12, picked up my first programming language at 14, and built my first computer at age 15.

In high school I was the kid who took all of the computer science classes I could and even exhausted the school curriculum, so they sent me to college in my senior year to take extra programming classes.

I went to a local college after I graduated from high school and soon decided that I should pursue my passion and do what I had always wanted to do. I researched for several months and finally made my decision to move out to California to pursue my life's dream. I graduated from college as valedictorian and immediately started working in the field of my choice.

My goal has been, and always will be to continue learning, developing, and innovating with the skills I have acquired over my whole life. Nothing is more satisfying than seeing one of my completed programming projects increase the productivity or efficiency of a company.

As a result of this request, a workshop was organized; Matt learned SQL and Matt eventually became employed as a result of his SQL skills...
